FORUM 2019 - OUT OF THE COLD
In celebration of Freedom by Design's 15th anniversary, this project allowed participants of FORUM 2019 to create blankets for Toronto's Charity, Yonge Street Mission. Students from across the world were able to connect while dedicating time to the therapeutic activity of quilting.
Location: Fairmont Hotel, Toronto
Completion: December 2019
Client: Yonge Street Mission (YSM)
The intent of the project was to bring the hundreds of AIAS students from different ends of the world to work together and complete a project within the weekend. People brought fabric from their homes and others quilted them together to wind down from the bustle of the convention. By the end, great connections were made and a full project was realized.
